Banbridge War Memorial
This shrine will aye endure to tell
Stands here the symbol of our sacrifice.
Oh, they have sown new sons
To bring new worlds to birth
Grain of their harvest runs,
And thunders round the earth
Behold ye mourning ones
The splendour of your sons.
They knew that Ulster dare not live
Did they not dare to die
And scorned amid the reeling strife
To yield a step for death or life
They were a wall unto us
Both by night and day
